The Woodland Enterprise Centre offers a generous, contemporary space that’s ideal for hosting corporate events, from business conferences to workshops and training days.

Here, deep in the tranquil, contemplative surroundings of ancient mixed woodland, carfeully nurtured through our Environmental Sustainabililty Governance practices, our innovative, award-winning gridshell building has been designed to attune perfectly with its setting.

This is a showcase for innovative sustainable construction, blending traditional timber-frame carpentry methods with contemporary design inspired by the forms of nature. As such, The Woodland Enterprise Centre is the ideal location for focusing the attention of employees and prospective clients alike, as well as providing all the amenities required to host successful, impactful, and truly memorable corporate events.

Inside, the arched timber vault of the light and spacious main hall, which comfortably seats 150 people, has been specially designed to deliver excellent acoustics, and includes a large state-of-the-art LED screen for superior presentations, delivering sound and visuals guaranteed to reach your entire audience.

There are further comfortably furnished suites adjacent to the main hall, ideal for small meetings and select briefings, and wifi throughout The Woodland Enterprise Centre is reliable and fast. The building is maintained at a comfortable temperature year-round with the use of an eco-friendly biomass boiler.

A range of excellent catering services can be sourced locally on your behalf, and amenities are also available onsite to keep your guests refreshed throughout the day. You’ll find separate men’s and women’s toilets in the building, alongside conveniently situated disabled facilities.

The Woodland Enterprise Centre is set within 20 hectares of rolling woodland, but we’re located just off the A21, only an hour-and-a-half south from Central London by road or rail, and with generous parking onsite.

Discover how, and when, we choose which trees to harvest, by following the traditional woodland management technique of coppicing, an ancient practice that allows us to use our timber while creating and maintaining important habitats for plants and wildlife, and increasng the diversity of species that thrive here.

Watch how trees are planked in our sawmill, then team up under supervision from our local craftsmen, and use our timbers to build an outdoor trestle table. Finish the day celebrating your success with refreshments and locally sourced produce cooked over the firepit out among the trees. Transport to the nearby station is arranged for your return journey.
